Outdoor Ceremony

2nd September 2018

Outdoor Ceremony

Thank goodness the sun way shining for Katie and Bradley today with their outdoor ceremony at Woodhall Manor. A wonderfully relaxed wedding combining the brides Jewish heritage with a more modern take on a the traditional chuppah canopy. We used a rustic silver birch pole frame dressed with different mosses and soft voile fabric. Covering the corners with a combination of roses, dahlias and lisianthus plus lots of lovely trailing foliages creating a wonderfully natural  and romantic ceremony setting.

Hedingham Castle

Hedingham Castle

We had the pleasure of working at the beautiful Hedingham Castle today installing flowers for Lisa and Luke’s big day. The flowers were to have a relaxed garden feel, very much in keeping with the beautiful grounds of the castle. Lisa wanted a mix of mid to stronger pinks with hints of coral, peach and paler tones, combined with plenty of textural foliages and different succulent plants.  A shot here of their top table arrangement which earlier had formed part of the ceremony table for their castle wedding. We then transferred this over to the marquee adding extra length, so it really filled the long top table. Mini succulent plants were then added as a final touch to each place setting.

Charlotte’s Bouquet

Charlotte's Bouquet

So enjoyed putting this weekends wedding together, a really relaxed day at Abbots Hall in Stowmarket. Charlotte wanted a very natural and unstructured feel for her flowers with a subtle and slightly antiqued colour palette. Peonies were a must and even it the amazing heat of the day they didn’t let us down. Mixed with amnesia and cappuccino roses, delicate white astilbe and larkspur, with deep pops of chocolate cosmos mixed in for good measure. As with most of my work the foliage was a very important part, jasmine, cotoneaster, various eucalyptuses, asparagus ferns and fine spirea helped to get the look we were hoping for.

Rustic Archway

6th July 2018

Rustic Archway

We created this beautiful rustic archway as the perfect setting for Elise’s wedding at Haughley Park Barns. Elise wanted to say “I do” under an archway in keeping with their rustic, woodland theme. We used a birch pole frame with lots of different mosses and succulent plants, plenty of foliages and delicate, subtle flowers to help create an enchanted woodland feel.  After the ceremony the archway made the prefect place for friends and family to take photo or two – A rustic photo booth I guess!

Simple White & Green Brides Bouquet

Simple White & Green Bouquet

Sometimes you can’t beat the simplicity of white and green. Here’s a close up of Bianca’s bridal bouquet  from her day at Alpheton Hall Barns today – Simply roses, peonies, astilbe, astrantia and sweet peas with a tangle of jasmine, french ruskus, olive and eucalyptuses.
