A lovely start to 2019 this morning when I received these beautiful images of KayLing and Davids stunning wedding at Hengrave Hall last year.

Taken by the very talentedĀ www.mckinley-rodgers.com they really have captured the day so well. It’s always really lovey to see how the weddings I have worked on have come together and how it is all captured so well by the professionals!

Thank you for sharing these with me.

The Last Wedding of 2018!

29th December 2018

Winter Berries Table Setting

A wonderful crisp and frosty winter morning for my last wedding of 2018 at Easton Grange. Emma and David can to me with the inspiration of rich berry tones, pale blush pinks and dusky grey foliages. So I came up with this combination of sweet avalanche and blueberry roses, astrantia roma, pink wax flowers, brunia, white eryngium and pepper berries, with blue pine, populus and parvi eucalyptus, berried ivy and senecio. Here we have one of their table centres using wooden logs and jars with accents of champagne gold, tea lights and table signage.

A lovely relaxed wedding to finish the off the year and here’s to many more in 2019!

Rustic Table Setting

8th December 2018

Rustic Table Setting

A very rustic feel for Poppy & Jamies Wedding at Woodhall Manor today. They wanted their decoration to follow a very natural woodland look using lots of foliages with the wonderful variations of colour and texture available to us at this time of year. For their table centres I used locally sourced coppiced hazel rods to create tall tripods and then made loose and tumbling arrangements using different eucalyptuses, ruskus, ivy, red skimmia, pink wax flowers, conifers, pussy willow and semi dried hydrangea heads. Single stems of the flowers from Poppy’s bouquet were then used in mini bottles with their table numbers and a few tea lights to finish the look.

Autumnal Inspiration

Autumnal Inspiration

A little bit of Autumnal wedding inspiration here with a bouquet I put together for the Haughley Park wedding open day. I’m just loving this delicate combination of subtle orange and pale blush tones, with pops of the richer browns and deep burgundy all sitting against the pale grey /green foliages. Just goes to prove there are always hidden gems for brides getting married outside of the summer months. For brides to be, try and find out if there are flowers and foliages that are specific to your time of year – you might be pleasantly surprised!

Chinese Tea Ceremony

30th September 2018

We were at the beautiful setting of Hengrave Hall today for KayLing & Davids Chinese / English wedding. Here is a shot of the Library all set for the Traditional Wedding Tea Ceremony, where the bride and groom will serve tea to their parents, marking the joining of two families. In keeping with the traditional red theme we used bright red roses, carnations and gerbera placed on top of tall trumpet vases sitting on stone plinths.
